Day 1: 5-Day Cleanse

Lindsay GrimesCleanse

*Please note today was a really hard day emotionally, so bare that in mind as you read this 5-day cleanse journal entry 1.

Today, I started my 5 day cleanse and I was hungry all day long!

I thought about food all day.

And of course Carsen wanted to play kitchen cook. He made me strawberry cake, banana cake, coconut cake, hamburgers and hot chocolate. I mean, come on kid, help your momma out!

Between the cleanse and a toddler who didn’t sleep well last night, I’m exhausted.

Trader-Joes-Veg-Broth-1I am not a picky eater, but have you ever sip on plain vegetable broth?
Sigh.
It’s going to be a long four more days.

The Schedule:

After a rough night of on and off waking up, I woke up at 6:20ish a.m. to Carsen talking into my face. I told him to go see his dad, and after about 2.5 hours of laying on top of me and jumping around, he went downstairs. I fell back asleep and rolled out of bed around 8:55 a.m.

From there, this is what I did:
9 a.m. Digest & Cleanse with 8 oz. of water
10:30 a.m.  2 scoops of Balance Complete with 8 oz. water
10:45 a.m. 2oz Ningxia Red
11:26 a.m. Four slices of small orange
11:30 a.m. 2 scoops of Balance Complete with 8 oz. water
11:35 a.m. Digest & Cleanse with 8 oz. of water
11:49 a.m. 2oz Ningxia Red
1:18 p.m. 1/2 cup fresh blueberries
1:39 p.m. Glass of water
4:40 p.m. Digest & Cleanse with 8 oz. of water
5:10 p.m. 4oz Ningxia Red
5:30 p.m. 2 scoops of Balance Complete with 8 oz. water
7:30 p.m. 1 cup vegetable broth

I peed all day long.

And now I’m watching my husband eat chips and salsa (he was kind to ask if it was ok) and I’m ready to eat my arm.
