So I tried hard to document my thoughts in my “notes” section of my iPhone to give y’all a real time experience of day 2 of my 5-day cleanse journey. I started last night and carried on into today.
I’m headed to bed (10:50p.m.) and I’m getting a dull headache.
My stomach wants to eat itself.
I just heard a huge noise come from my stomach.
It sounded like a beast.
I need to go to sleep.
This was my food schedule for the day:
7:56 a.m. Digest & Cleanse with 8oz water
8:36 a.m. 1 scoop Balance Complete, 1 scoop Pure Protein Chocolate Powder with 8oz water
10:50 a.m. 1 red apple
12:49 p.m. Digest & Cleanse with 8oz water
1:00 p.m. 4oz Ningxia Red
3:10 1 scoop Balance Complete, 1 scoop Pure Protein Chocolate Powder with 8oz water
4:04 p.m. 1 cup cucumber
6:23 p.m. 4oz Ningxia Red
6:30 p.m. Digest & Cleanse with 8oz water
7:45 p.m. 1 scoop Balance Complete, 1 scoop Pure Protein Chocolate Powder with 8oz water
8:30 p.m. 1 cup miso soup!!!!
10 p.m. 2oz Ningxia Red
This evening, I asked on Facebook where I can get miso soup, and my friend commented with Whole Foods. So I drove to Whole Foods at 8 p.m. and got myself a quart of miso soup. People it would behoove you to heed this information and get miso soup from Whole Foods when doing this 5-day cleanse because it will revolutionize this experience. I cannot tell you the difference between plain vegetable broth and miso soup. Life changing.
I will say having something hot for my dinner snack is excellent after having nothing but cold food during the day. I no longer feel like this cleanse is impossible. However, I do want to plan better. I want to spread out my “meals” more evenly which may mean packing my Ningxia, snacks and balance complete to be sure I’m not waiting hours between things.
I was in the bathroom a lot more today.
I guess that means the cleanse is cleansing my insides.
I’ll leave it at that.
