Day 4: 5-Day Cleanse

Lindsay GrimesCleanse

When I went to bed last night around 11:30 p.m. I could NOT get warm. I was literally shivering under the covers. I had sweatpants on with a sweatshirt and socks, under a down comforter with a heater going in the room. I was so cold, Kevin got my an extra blanket. I asked my friend if it was normal for your body temperature to drop during a cleanse, and she said “totally normal”.

Who knew?! I had NEVER heard that before, but it makes sense. Your body needs food to produce energy. And since I’m eating less, my body is not producing as much energy. It’s kind of crazy! Was not expecting that!

My schedule:
8:43 a.m. Digest & Cleanse with 8 oz water
9:15 a.m. 4 oz Ningxia Red
10 a.m. 1 scoop Balance Complete, 1 scoop Pure Protein Chocolate Powder with 8 oz of water
11:46 a.m. 1 apple
12:41 p.m. Digest & Cleanse with 8 oz water
1:18 p.m. 4 oz Ningxia Red
2 p.m. 1 scoop Balance Complete, 1 scoop Pure Protein Chocolate Powder with 8 oz of water
4 p.m. 1 cup cucumber
4:41 Digest & Cleanse with 8 oz water
5:35 p.m. 2 oz Ningxia Red
6:45 p.m. 1 scoop Balance Complete, 1 scoop Pure Protein Chocolate Powder with 8 oz of water
8 p.m. 1 cup Miso soup

Even I, Miso soup’s #1 fan, am getting tired of Miso soup.

I know my body is thanking me for this cleanse.
I had a mini physical recently when we applied for life insurance. I saw my results, and while I am in GREAT health, there were a few things in regards to my bladder, kidneys and liver I could improve on. So I know those areas are really thankful for this cleanse (along with a few supplements I will get in my January ER order).

However, that doesn’t take away the fact that I cannot wait to eat on Saturday. I will try to ease back into it. But I will also be so happy to eat food I can dig my teeth into.

Still very much cleaning my insides of the crap (wink, wink).

Overall I think this cleanse is worth it!
